Mission Statement and Purpose

The D.I.V.A.S. Club Corporation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that reaches out to women who have a vision to build and regenerate communities that are anchored in compassion, love and generosity. The women of The D.I.V.A.S. Club believe that a community that respects one another cares for one another and will thrive in unity.

The D.I.V.A.S. Club stands for women with DEVOTION, INTEGRITY, VICTORY, ALTRUISM, and STRENGTH; essentially, a vision of women empowering other women through education, counseling, and mentor services. The program focuses on developing a project-based model approach that is closely in line with National Coalition against Domestic Violence, whereby the D.I.V.A.S. Club counselors and mentors teach and build within the women they serve, a sense of confidence and self-esteem.

The D.I.V.A.S. Club ACCEL Educational Leadership Mission Statement

The D.I.V.A.S. Club ACCEL Educational Leadership Program prepares and supports highly skillful visionary leaders who improve the lives of those group and individuals they serve. The D.I.V.A.S. Club Directors prepares and supports skillful, reflective professionals who improve the quality of life in diverse communities. We accomplish our mission through implementation of learner-centered empowerment programs that are developmental, inquiry-focused, and standards-based.

Therefore, it is the mission of The D.I.V.A.S. Club to provide support to the abuse women from this community, educating and empower abuse women with a deep understanding of the richness and complexity of a variety of contexts in designing and implementing instruction empower themselves.
