Mission Statement and Purpose

The D.I.V.A.S. Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, that outreachs Women of The D.I.V.A.S. Club with a vision to build a regenerated community anchored in compassion, love and generosity. We believe that a community that respects one another and cares for each other’s well being willed be a thriving place where people can live work and play in unity.

Our vision for the program focuses on developing a modeling and project-based approach to instruction in Empowerment, this Program is to provide education, to the National Coalition against Domestic Violence.

The D.I.V.A.S. Club believes violence against women and children results from the use of force or threat to achieve and maintain control over others in intimate relationships, and from societal abuse of power and domination in the forms of sexism, racism, homophobia, classism, anti-Semitism, able-bodyism, ageism and other oppressions.

The women from The D.I.V.A.S. Club recognize that the abuses of power in society foster battering by perpetuating conditions, which condone violence against women and children.

Divas Club Educational Leadership Mission Statement

The D.I.V.A.S. Club Educational Leadership Program prepares and supports highly skillful visionary leaders who improve the lives of those group and individuals they serve. The D.I.V.A.S. Club Directors prepares and supports skillful, reflective professionals who improve the quality of life in diverse communities. We accomplish our mission through implementation of learner-centered empowerment programs that are developmental, inquiry-focused, and standards-based.

Therefore, it is the mission of The D.I.V.A.S. Club to provide support to the abuse women from this community, educating and empower abuse women with a deep understanding of the richness and complexity of a variety of contexts in designing and implementing instruction empower themselves.
